Veterans Day events across Baldwin County

Nov. 5

Loxley – Potluck meal followed by a short program, 6 p.m., Loxley Civic Center. Music by the City Rhythm Big Band with patriotic songs performed by Bennie Green. Door prizes.

Nov. 6

Fairhope – The Veterans Day parade starts at 10 a.m. and will begin and end at the Fairhope Civic Center. The city’s 2021 veteran of the year will lead the parade.

Nov. 10

Daphne – The city and Daphne High School will hold a Veterans Day program at 9:30 a.m. at the Daphne Civic Center on U.S. 98. This year’s event will feature special guest speakers and musical guests.

Robertsdale – Guest speakers, followed by lunch and a slide show of local veterans, 10:30 a.m., PZK Hall on Alabama 104. For more information call 251-947-8973.

Nov. 11

Bay Minette -  Veterans Day parade at 10:30, followed by two ceremonies, one at the Eternal Flame on Courthouse Square, the second at the Korean War Memorial  at the Bay Minette Public Library. For more information call 251-937-5665.

Silverhill – Program at the Silverhill Veterans Memorial, located in Anderson Park on Main Street at 10 a.m. Includes guest speakers, recognition of all veterans, recognition of fallen soldiers, and live bugle music.

Foley - Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m. begins and ends at Max Griffin Park (300 W. Roosevelt St.) heading north on S. Alston Street, west on W. Violet Avenue, south on S. Pine Street, and east on W. Verbena Avenue.

Fairhope – The American Legion Post 199 will host veterans and their families from noon to 7 p.m. A sunset prayer service will also be held in Fairhope today at 4:45 p.m. at Henry George Park. A local pastor will lead the prayer service and taps will be performed following the prayer.

Elberta Veterans Day parade at 11 a.m.
