By the numbers: NFL Draft and the Senior Bowl

Posted

The Reese's Senior Bowl had 106 players selected (out of 257 total drafted) in the 2025 NFL Draft, which means 41% of the entire NFL Draft is from the Senior Bowl.

This marks the fifth consecutive year where Senior Bowl draft picks have accounted for at least 40% of the entire class, and prior to 2021, the Senior Bowl had never had 100 players drafted in a single year, which makes this also the fifth straight year the game has hit triple-digits, according to a press release from the Senior Bowl.

"A record-setting 50 of the top 102 selections came from the Senior Bowl roster, and all 32 NFL teams drafted at least one participant. The Senior Bowl continues to be a vital part of the NFL draft process," Senior Bowl Director of Football Operations Jack Gilmore said.

Drew Fabianich, executive director of the Senior Bowl, said the success of the athletes in the Draft "underscores the importance of the event as a platform for aspiring professional players."

"The drafted athletes now face the challenge of adapting to the rigors of the NFL and proving their worth on a much larger stage. Their journey from college football to the professional arena is a testament to their dedication, skill and resilience," he said. "As these players embark on their NFL careers, fans and coaches alike will be watching closely, eager to see how these newly drafted talents will shape the future of their teams and the league. The 2025 Senior Bowl has once again affirmed its reputation as a key steppingstone for the NFL stars of tomorrow."
