Bluegrass Festival benefits Stapleton School

STAPLETON — Clear skies and sunny weather greeted festival goers on Saturday, Oct. 23 for a full day of entertainment and fun at the Gulf Coast’s premier bluegrass event, the Stapleton Bluegrass Festival, a benefit for Stapleton School.

Held the fourth Thursday in October on the grounds at Stapleton School, the event featured a full lineup of award-winning bluegrass acts, including Dave Adkins, The Cotton Pickin’ Kids and The Amanda Cook Band, along with local favorites Hillspring Drive, Blue Mullet and Down Home 2.0.

The event also featured food trucks, family friendly activities including a cupcake walk and pumpkin painting hosted by Stapleton Baptist Church.
