June 6, the second annual Blayne Shackelford Memorial Golf Tournament took place at Holly Hills Municipal Golf Course in Bay Minette. 

The benefit tournament had two sets of winners representing the morning and afternoon flights. The morning winners included AJ Nobles, Richie Nobles, Austin Vilborg and Rick Nobles. The afternoon winning team included Josh Huggins, Tucker Morris, Steven Lins and Lee Huggins. 

In addition to the team awards, the event raised funds toward scholarships given in memory of Blayne. One of the tournament players was also a scholarship recipient: Matthew Franklin, who was also a teammate with Blayne on the Baldwin County High School Golf Team. Additional scholarship winners included Molli Claire Sessions, Andrew Donald, Anna Grace McKinnis, Jack Rice, and Angelyah Greene. 

Holly Hills serves as the home course for the BCHS Tigers.
