Betty Jean Ewing of Elberta, Alabama passed on April 17, 2022, at the age of 68. She was born on August 11, 1953.
Jean was married to her high school sweetheart Thomas Howard Ewing for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Howard Ewing; three children, Chris (Julie) Ewing, Albert Ewing, Rose (Josh) Riggan, and daughter-in-law, Crystal Ewing; eight grandchildren, Natosha Ewing, Taylor Aguillard, Tristan Ewing, Brittany Nims, Hunter Riggan, Jordan Ewing, Ethan Ewing, and Cherilyn Ewing; three great-grandchildren, Bo Miller, Sebastian Walker and Jaxton Steadham; as well as her sisters, Alyce Ewing and Susan Register, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Henry Albert Hand and Adeline DeJourdan Hand, and her son, Thomas A. Ewing.
Services were held at Oyster Bay Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. with dinner following at the home of Howard Ewing.
