Beta Chi Sigma holds free step clinic for local youth

BAY MINETTE — Beta Chi Sigma recently held a free step clinic for area youth at the Douglasville School of Arts & Recreation.
In less than three hours, campers learned an entire routine. They performed the routine for family and loved ones at the close of camp. Campers also participated in team building activities.
Kayland Lamar and Norleisha Lewis, the founders and sponsors of Beta Chi Sigma, would "like to take this time to thank every camper that attended and their parents/guardians for trusting us with them," according to a release. "Also, we would like to give a huge shoutout to the entire Beta Chi Sigma Step Team for not only choreographing the routine but teaching it to the campers as well. Last but not least, we would like to thank the City of Bay Minette for sponsoring the event and Douglasville School of Arts and Recreation for housing the event. It was truly amazing from beginning to end."
