DAPHNE — Several Bayside Academy students won top spots in the 2022 South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) Photo Contest.

The contest is sponsored by SALT to showcase the natural beauty of coastal Alabama.

Bayside's winning students were, in the Junior Fauna division: Sophia Haines (first place), Elizabeth Ernest (first place), Sophia Haines (second place), Garrek Snell (third place).

In the Junior Flora division, winning Bayside students were Elizabeth Ernest (first place), Sophia Haines (second place), Garrek Snell (third place). In the Junior Habitat division Thomas Hearin placed first.

In the Junior People in Nature division Elizabeth Ernest placed first and Elin Backman placed second.
