Bay Minette book sale draws hundreds, boosts library programs

Posted

The Bay Minette Public Library’s annual Spring Into a Good Book Sale recently drew a crowd of enthusiastic readers, with hundreds turning out to support the community hub and score deals on books, puzzles, videos and other treasures.

Shoppers filled the library at 205 W. 2nd Street throughout on Saturday, April 26, many leaving with armloads of finds and limited-edition library totes. The event, which has become a seasonal favorite, helps fund a range of programs offered by the library year-round.

In addition to the spring sale, the library runs a continuous book sale upstairs in its program room. The collection is regularly restocked with new titles, offering patrons a year-round chance to browse and buy.

Proceeds from both sales go directly to support programming, including children’s story times, summer reading initiatives and technology workshops.

The Bay Minette Public Library continues to serve as a vital resource for the community, offering access to materials, internet services and educational programming for all ages.
