Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute marks 10 years of Cardiovascular Symposium

More than 350 health care professionals attended Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute’s 10th annual Cardiovascular Symposium on Feb. 28 at Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center.

The event featured leading physicians and medical experts, offering insights on advancements in cardiovascular care according to a news release.

Speakers included physicians and leaders from Baptist Health Care as well as David E. Winchester, M.D., M.S., FACP, FACC, FASNC, a professor of medicine and radiology at the University of Florida.

“We are delighted to provide this free, full-day educational event for health care professionals,” said Rachael Dorval, MBA, BSN, R.N., executive director of heart and vascular services, in the release. “We know this ultimately elevates patient care and overall community wellness.”

Since its inception, the symposium has provided free continuing education to more than 3,000 health care professionals across Northwest Florida and South Alabama, reinforcing Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute’s commitment to advancing cardiovascular treatment and education in the region.
