Baldwin virtual schools to host open houses

There’s still time to register for the 2022-2023 school year

DAPHNE — Are you considering virtual school for your child but unsure if it is a good fit? Do you have questions you want answered before you commit to virtual learning? Worried you missed the registration deadline?
Don't fret. Baldwin County Virtual School registration is still open, and you can learn more about virtual schooling during two upcoming open houses.
The Baldwin County Virtual Secondary School Open House takes place on Tuesday, July 26, at 605 U.S. Highway 98 in Daphne. Two sessions will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. and 2 – 3 p.m. You can learn more about the school, activities, clubs and curriculum, meet the teachers, take a tour and participate in a Q&A meeting.
The Baldwin County Virtual Elementary/Middle School Open House will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 605 U.S. Highway 98 in Daphne. From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., parents and students can meet the principal and learn what virtual school has to offer, including curriculum, STEM, counseling, special services, school platforms, electives and more. Baldwin County virtual schools offer students direct, personalized instruction from real teachers. Virtual schooling gives students and their family the flexibility to create a schedule that works for them. Students are able to choose from a multitude of electives, organizations and clubs to join. Virtual students are also eligible to participate in sports, band and ROTC at their zoned school.
