Baldwin REALTORS was awarded the 2024 Local President's Cup Award by the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC). This honor recognizes the association's efforts to engage its membership in the democratic process, raising awareness of voter registration and participation in the local 2024 elections.

Baldwin REALTORS is the only large board association in Alabama to earn the distinction this year.

AWARD-WINNING HIGHLIGHTS

• Voter registration reminders: A targeted email and social media series encouraged REALTORS to register or update their voter information ahead of Oct. 21, 2024, the Alabama voter registration deadline to vote in the Nov. 5, 2024, election.

• Get out the vote campaign: A strategic feature in Baldwin REALTORS membership newsletter drove awareness of a key election date — March 5, 2024, for municipal primaries — ensuring members knew when and how to cast their ballots.

• Criteria for President's Cup Award:

1. RPAC fundraising: Baldwin REALTORS met and surpassed its share of the Alabama REALTORS Political Action Committee (ARPAC) fundraising goal for 2024.
2. Participation rate: The association achieved an exemplary 67% REALTOR participation rate, exceeding the 37% threshold required for consideration.

Since its inception, the Local President's Cup Award has honored REALTOR associations across the country that demonstrate exceptional leadership in political advocacy, RPAC support and member mobilization. Baldwin REALTORS' success this year underscores its belief in educating both professionals and the public on the importance of private property rights and civic responsibility.
