FAIRHOPE — The Baldwin Humane Society recently obtained a new Ford Transit cargo van with the help of the team from Sandy Sansing Ford of Daphne. The state-of-the-art, custom outfitted Ford transport van will help with the transportation of pets both locally and to rescue organizations all over the country.

The Baldwin Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill, pet adoption and animal welfare organization that has been in operation serving all of Baldwin County since 1979.

Sandy Sansing Ford has also offered to take care of routine maintenance on the vehicle for the remainder of its lifetime.

"Homeless pets in Baldwin County deserve the very best care we can give them," said Baldwin Humane Society Executive Director Abby Pruet, "and we want to thank Sandy Sansing Ford for making that possible."
