Is your child interested in the electrifying sounds of Bach, Chopin and more?
The Baldwin County Youth Orchestra (BCYO) recently announced a tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for this year's Christmas Concert.
This performance will take place on Dec. 10 at the Daphne Civic Center.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra's music is known for its powerful blend of rock and classical, and this tribute requires a robust ensemble of brass and wind players. However, BYCO currently has a shortage of these instrumentalists. The orchestra encourages parents, family members and community members to spread the word about this exciting opportunity. Participation is open to all, and families can join at no cost if they engage in fundraising activities to cover their fees.
The first rehearsal, set for Aug. 19, is right around the corner. Registration and auditions for both the Baldwin County Youth Orchestra and the Baldwin Youth Chorus are open. Interested participants can register on the BCYO website or contact the office directly at (251) 279-0848 or via email at bcyorchestra@gmail.com.
Don't miss this chance for your child to be part of a spectacular holiday concert. Share the excitement and ensure every budding musician has the opportunity to shine this Christmas season. For more information and to register, visit https://bcyorchestra.com.
