Baldwin County Virtual School gives groovy performance on March 25

The students of Baldwin County Virtual School's Pelican Players will take audiences on a groovy trip down the rabbit hole this weekend with their production of Alice in Wonderland.

The Lewis Carroll classic was adapted by Charlotte Chorpenning and gives the tale a distinct 1960s flair. The production is being performed in cooperation with Dramatic Publishing Company.

Directed by DD Payne, audiences can catch the show for one night only, March 25 at 7 p.m. at the Fairhope Civic Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets can be purchased at the door, $15 for adults and $10 for students. To purchase in advance, contact Payne at dpayne@bcbe.org.

Cast members are : Hailey Wilson (Alice), Brooklyn Kyzar (Margaret), Tucker Marlow (Rabbit), Julia Brooks (Caterpillar), Rachael Goodrich (Duchess), Emily Warner (Cook), Hayden Jensen (March Hare), Avery Kyzar (Mad Hatter), Julia Brooks (Mock Turtle), Ivey Simpson (Gryphon and Red Queen), Brooklyn Kyzar (Knave of Hearts), Harlee Rohrer (White Queen) and Audrey Kurshals (Executioner). The stage crew is Lori Goodrich, Paisley Armstrong, and Audrey Kurzhals and parent helpers Lori Goodrich and Paula Armstrong.
