The Tigerettes secured a superior rating as well as earning the highest honors in individual evaluations, receiving all superior blue ribbons. They also clinched the Drill Down Team winner title and collected numerous gold drill down ribbons, marking their dominance in the competition.
In individual drill down performances, Madeline Hartley emerged as the Drill Down Princess, while Shelby Stewart took home the second runner-up title.
Seven members of the Tigerettes were named All-American Dancers including Cale Jones, Abbi Paul, Emma-Claire Simpson, Addison Scarborough, Madeline Hartley, Eleesia Emmons and Hayden Drew. The team also captured second place in the Varsity Home Routine competition.
Adding to their accolades, the Tigerettes won a Spirit Stick each day of the camp and also received two Pin It Forward recognitions, an award that honors acts of kindness, which were given to Cale Jones and Emma-Claire Simpson.
The Junior Varsity team also made a strong showing at the camp, earning a superior rating along with all superior and excellence ribbons in individual evaluations. Kaydence Scott and Paxtan Bazzel were both selected as All-American Dancers. The JV team was recognized as the Most Improved, earned a Pin It Forward recognition for A'alayia McClain, and, like their varsity counterparts, took home a Spirit Stick every day.
Coach Elizabeth Byrd praised the teams for their hard work and dedication. "Both teams were exceptional representatives of our program," Byrd said in the release. "They worked so hard. They are both artists and true athletes. It is going to be a fantastic football season."
