Baldwin County High School welcomed 29 new members into the National Honor Society during a special ceremony held on Monday, March 11. The event featured the new member pledge, the ceremonial lighting of candles and a promenade of members around the room. Following the ceremony, a reception was held to celebrate the achievements of the new inductees and their families.
The National Honor Society, founded on the principles of scholarship, service, leadership and character, stands as a beacon of academic excellence. The induction of these new members highlights Baldwin County High School's commitment to these fundamental pillars of education and personal development.
Among the new inductees are senior Payton Ball, junior Dessie James and sophomores Ahrianah Atchison, Auburne Brooks, Braydon Bryars, Roxanne Ching, Hayden Coley, Makenna Davis, Hayden Drew, Tyson Durant, Eleesia Emmons, Luke England, Brylin Etheridge, Patrick Fitzgerald, Madeline Hartley, Carley Johnson, Coen Lambeth, Elinor Landenwich, Aydan McMillin, Jacob Murphy, Carley New, Stori Palmer, Sophia Propst, Raelynn Rivers, Braxton Roberts, Tehya Rolin, Brooke Sheets, Brycen Stewart and Mitchell Tuberville.
The National Honor Society officers leading the chapter include Kinsey Seals as president, Brooke Godwin as vice president, Saylor Bryant as secretary/treasurer, Marissa Greco as historian and Kaiden Smith as sergeant-at-arms. Guidance and support for the chapter are provided by dedicated faculty advisors, including Alex Homan, Donna Johnson, Judy Bridges, Claire Celaya, Amy Boylan, Claire Turner and Michael Hill.
