Baldwin County High School's Reece Buck and Justin Brunson have signed scholarships to play baseball at the next level.
Buck will play for the University of Mobile Rams. Brunson will play for Coastal Alabama Community College Warhawks in Brewton.
BCHS Coach Zeb Hilburn said both have been a key part of the Tigers baseball program for several years.
Buck batted .232 with five doubles, two home runs, and six stolen bases this season alone.
"He was our everyday shortstop, and everybody knew who Buck was and pitched him very tough," Hilburn said. "He will be a huge asset to the University of Mobile in the coming years."
Brunson batted .356 with seven doubles, one home run and 10 stolen bases.
"He played centerfield flawless this year not making any errors. He should make an immediate impact to Coastal Alabama East," Hilburn said.
Buck will make the fourth member of his family to play sports at the University of Mobile. His two older brothers, Kyle and Brett, have played for the Rams baseball program and his sister Chloe is a current member of the Lady Rams softball team.
