It's no fish story-The angling talents of Baldwin County High School Fishing Team made a spalsh at the recent Alabama Bass Nation’s Tiger Trail held at Lake Martin.
Hunter Travis and Jameson Norris clinched the top spot out of a formidable field of 175 boats, securing first place honors along with the prestigious big fish prize. Luke England and Cole Rountree showcased their skills as well, claiming a respectable fourth place finish in the competition.
Baldwin County’s six-member squad not only demonstrated individual excellence but also emerged victorious as a team, securing the coveted first place overall title. This achievement not only brings accolades but also grants them qualification for the state-level tournament, scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 1 at Lake Eufala.
The winning team comprised Eli Galloway, Coleman Dyess, Luke England, Cole Rountree, Hunter Travis and Jameson Norris, under the able guidance of boat captains Will Galloway, Brad England and Farrell Travis.
