The Baldwin County High School Fishing Team competed at the Alabama Bass Nation High School Tournament at Lake Martin and had four teams finish in the top 10. Baldwin County High School's team bested 160 teams to win the 6-Man Team Champion title. Team member Ryan Wright currently holds the "Big Fish of the Year" with a 5 lb. 5 oz. fish for Lake Martin. According to coach John Black, if Wright holds the record all year, he will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
