Baldwin County High fisherman Bryars signs with Faulkner

National Championship qualifier extends fishing career

Posted

Recent Baldwin County High School graduate Noah Bryars signed with the Faulkner University bass fishing team to continue his angling career. He served as the school’s sixth signee heading into the fall of 2022.

Bryars was one of four Tiger bass fishing pairs to qualify for a spot in the Alabama Bass Nation High School Bassmaster National Championship after top marks at the state championship. Bryars was part of a six-man team that finished seventh overall.

The Faulkner Eagles compete in NAIA’s Southern States Athletic Conference but bass fishing is one of seven non-championship sports the school offers.
