It is beginning to look a lot like Mardi Gras everywhere you look. The Christmas wreaths and decorations have been stowed away, and purple, green and gold can be seen hanging everywhere. The parades won't roll in Baldwin County for a little longer but there is still plenty of fun to keep you entertained. Winter Showcase Series: What to See and Do in Foley
What: Learn all about what Foley has to offer from LaDonna Hinesley during the 2023 Winter Showcase Series presented by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism. Hinesley's presentation will include information on attractions, parks, museums and restaurants in the Foley area. Reservations are required for the lecture series and can be made by visiting gulfshores.com/showcase/.

The Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival Preview events
What: Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival (ESCMF) is a classical music series that presents professional chamber music performances. The inaugural 2023 ESCMF season will be May 28 through June 11. The ESCMF is holding two concerts this weekend. The first event Cacao-Phony is a ticketed live music and dessert pairing at Fairhope Chocolate Friday, Jan. 20. The second is a free concert at Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship Saturday, Jan. 21. Visit escmf.org for more information and tickets.

0.5K – The Race for the Rest of Us
What: The Fairhope Sunset Rotary Club's 0.5K race takes over a few of the streets in downtown Fairhope for a very brief time. The race supports local Fairhope area charities and gives very short-distance runners a chance to show out. Tickets are available for purchase at Eventbrite.com. Rain or shine. Race begins at 3 p.m. at Bay Breeze and goes down Fairhope Avenue, North Summit Street, Magnolia and North Church Street.
When: Saturday, Jan. 21, warm up begins at 1:30 p.m.

Bends & Brews with Glow Yoga
