It appears Foley and Elsanor recorded the most snowfall from Winter Storm Enzo, which blanketed Baldwin County and the Gulf Coast with record-breaking amounts on Jan. 21, at 10 inches.

This is based on preliminary National Weather Service data. Spanish Fort got 9.5 inches as of 6:20 p.m. on Jan 21, Orange Beach recorded 9 inches at 9 p.m., Silverhill 9 inches at 7:30 p.m., Gulf Shores 8.8 inches at 9 p.m., Fairhope 8.1 inches at 8 p.m. and Daphne 7.3 inches at 8 p.m.

As of 8:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, all state-maintained roadways in Baldwin County and throughout the state are open, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

A portion of Interstate 10 eastbound reclosed this morning after overnight icing made the stretch treacherous in Florida, but it has since reopened, leaving the highway clear after it had been completely shut down Jan. 23 between Baldwin County and Tallahassee.

According to NWS forecasts, skies should clear later this morning with highs for Baldwin County around 50. It will still dip below freezing tonight, but that should be the last time for at least a week. Sunday through Tuesday should see high temperatures in the 60s.

Robertsdale and Loxley recorded the lowest temperature at 9 degrees on Jan. 22 at 7 a.m. Lows ranged beyond that from 11 degrees in Turkey Branch to 21 in Bon Secour.

NWS says that observations are collected from a variety of sources with varying equipment and exposures and that not all data listed are considered official.
