Happy Halloween weekend Baldwin County. There is a plethora of Halloween events happening this weekend and it is also the Elberta Sausage Festival weekend. But if sausage and candy don't tickle your fancy, we have some alternate events for you. Take a tour through Fairhope's oldest cemetery, learn about electric car ownership or walk for the heart. Treats on the Trail
What: Let the children trick or treat and run off the sugar during the Treats on the Trail event hosted by the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail Foundation and the Orange Beach Coastal Resources Department. There will be tricks or treating, a costume contest, games, races and s'mores.
When: Friday, Oct. 28, 5 – 7 p.m.
Where: Trail begins at Orange Beach Sportsplex Trailhead and ends at Al's Parkour Park on Twin Bridges Trail.

Price: Free to attend

Fairhope History Colony Cemetery Tour
What: Learn about Fairhope's founding story by touring the Fairhope Colony Cemetery.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
Where: Fairhope Colony Cemetery, Intersection of Oak Street and North Section Street, Fairhope

Price: Free to attend but donations excepted

Baldwin Heart Walk
What: Join together with friends, family and colleagues at the Baldwin Heart Walk and raise money for the American Heart Association. Register now, visit baldwinheartwalk.org.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29, check-in at 9 a.m. and walk begins at 10 a.m.
Where: OWA Parks and Resort, 101-N South OWA Blvd., Foley

Boo at the Zoo
What: Celebrate Halloween with the animals at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. A day full of scare-free fun, trick or treating, activities and meet and greets with the animal ambassadors.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m. – noon
Where: Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, 20499 Oak Road East, Gulf Shores
Price: The event is included with regular zoo admission: Adults $22.95, Seniors/Military $19.95, Children (ages 3-12) $14.95.

EV Showcase
What: Do you have questions about owning an electric vehicle? The Bay area chapter of Drive Electric Alabama will hold its first EV showcase on the Eastern Shore. Electric vehicle owners will be available to answer questions and electric vehicles will be on display.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29 from noon – 4 p.m.
Where: Fairhope Civic Center, 161 North Section Street, Fairhope
Price: Free to attend

Bay Minette Fire Department Family Fun Day
What: Close out fire prevention month with a fire truck parade, demonstrations, games, hamburgers, hot dogs and a free showing of the movie "Planes, Fire and Rescue."
When: Saturday, Oct. 29, parade begins at 2 p.m. Movie begins at 6 p.m.
Where: Parade begins at Bay Minette Elementary and ends at the Bay Minette fire station.

Rescue Dog Adoption and Beer Release
What: Stop by Fairhope Brewing Company and have a few Rescue Dog Red beers and adopt a new four-legged friend from the Baldwin Humane Society. In the 10 years Fairhope Brewing Company has hosted this event, dozens of dogs have found their forever home. A portion of the proceeds of the seasonal IPA Rescue Dog Red will benefit the Baldwin Humane Society.
When: Sunday, Oct. 30, noon – 3 p.m.
