Augustine Michael “Mike” Pintarelli passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at home “on the creek” in Fairhope. He was a native of Belforest, Alabama.
Mike was preceded in death by his father and mother Gus and Magdalena Pintarelli; his wife, Connelia Crestman Pintarelli; his son Adam Pintarelli; his brother, Joe Pintarelli and three sisters, Christine P Trione, Estelle P. Peturis and Helen P Lazzari.
He is survived by his beloved, Cathy McIntosh; two daughters Tiffiny Corcoran (Ted) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Tristi Allen (Robbie) of Butler, Alabama; daughter-in-law Kim Midkiff (Andy) of Fairhope; Alabama; sisters, Lena Mae P. “Sister” Hill of Belforest, Alabama and Irma P. Davison (Clarence) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; seven grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Mike graduated from Fairhope High School in 1961 and was in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He was employee 40+ years with the Robert L. Berner, Company, later know as Diamond Foods, Inc. in Robertsdale, Alabama.
He was a long-time lover of singing and playing music. He was known for playing in a band on weekends at the PZK Hall in Robertsdale and other local venues. He loved playing guitar and singing with family and friends and was a member of the Choir at St Lawrence Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at St Lawrence Catholic Church, Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Inurnment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery, County Rd 64, Daphne.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Michael Catholic High School, Fairhope, Alabama, or to the charity of your choice.
