Anna Marie Helen Abbott passed away Wed., Oct. 23, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 90. She was a native of Long Island, New York and a resident of Perdido Beach, Alabama. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church and a member of the Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary. She was a life member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1340. She retired from nursing (RN) in 1987.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years John (J.T.) Abbott and three brothers, John, Albert and Carl, one sister, Helen and an infant son.
She is survived by two sons, John T. Abbott Jr. and Andrew C. Abbott, both of Pensacola, Florida. One grandson, William T. Abbott and granddaughter Janella Abbott. Two great grandchildren, Jordyn and Raeleigh Abbott, all of Pensacola, Florida. Along with many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held Mon., Oct. 28, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the parlor of Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. The service was held at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. Interment was held in Old Baptist Cemetery in Spanish Cove, Lillian, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department at 8450 Escambia Ave. Perdido Beach, AL. 36530.
