Andrew Thomas Ellis, age 38, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Andrew was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served our nation for two tours of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The first tour he served with the 360th Transportation Unit, and he served with the 60th Ordnance Company during his second tour. Andrew was a selfless man with a heart of gold and an iron will. Andrew loved being on the water and in the outdoors almost as much as he loved his family. He was a prankster with a chaotic sense of humor.

Andrew was a resourceful and determined worker. He had a knack for fixing things that couldn’t or shouldn’t be fixed, always thinking outside the box. He was passionate about what he believed in. Andrew had an unforgettable smile, and a magnetic presence that truly left a mark on the world. He will be missed by anyone that was fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dorothy Parker, Doris Elaine Ellis; niece, Abigail Faith Harrison.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Brooke McKay Ellis of Spanish Fort; sons, Andrew Thomas Ellis, II of Stockton, Kolton Brodie Ellis of Hannibal, Missouri, Clayton Louis Marsal, Jr. of Spanish Fort; daughter, Mary McKay Marsal of Spanish Fort; father, John (Shannon) Robert Harrison of Heidelberg, Mississippi; mother, Doris Edith Lewis of Foley; sisters, Jennifer (Armando) Botello of Fairhope, Leslie Chyanne Harrison of Bay Minette, Morgan (Mike) Pinkus of Heidelberg, Mississippi; brothers, J.D.
