An enchanted evening at the Copper Kettle

Posted

On Friday, June 30, The Copper Kettle in Foley was transformed into the Enchanted Forest, full of fairies, sprites, good food and lots of memorable moments. Many delicious teas and desserts were served throughout the evening, while the guests were treated to live entertainment: from a troupe of actors who rehearsed a play with hilarious results, a dazzling fairy violinist, Peter Pan with his guitar and a traveling bard with her ukulele. The hosts of the Midsummer’s Night Dream Tea also put on a sock puppet performance of a condensed version of the Shakespeare play, getting volunteers from the audience to read the rolls. The night was breezy and the trees were bright with fairy lights, while the Master of Mischief Puck played tricks upon the visiting mortals at the table, making it truly an event to remember.
