Alice Raye Daws nee Henderson, born July 24, 1939 in Mossleyville, KY passed away peacefully at her home in Lake St. Louis on December 27, 2020. Alice was surrounded by family and will be dearly missed by her son, Gregory Daws and his wife Ingrid of Lake St. Louis, MO and daughter, Sharon Franklin and her husband Steve of Greenville, NC. She created so many found memories for her grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, Chelsea, Isabella and Sofia and her great-grandchildren, Olivia and Greyson. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Wilkey of Owensboro, KY, Claire McFarland of Louisville, KY, and Mickey Henderson of Pensacola, FL. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Cara Henderson nee Clark; brother, Morgan Henderson; and two sisters, Ella Cauley and Cora Lee Fersguson. Alice Daws was a successful president of Barnett Bank and retired at 60 where she turned her attention to providing good homes for her adopted cats and exploring new towns as she bought, rehabed and sold her properties. Alice was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
