The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is set to carry out drainage repairs on US-98 at Mile Marker 51.8 in the Barnwell Community of Baldwin County.
The repairs are scheduled to start Thursday, Aug. 1, at 6 a.m. The project is expected to take approximately 12 hours to complete, weather permitting.
To facilitate the necessary work, ALDOT will implement a closure and detour in the affected area. Local traffic will be redirected to County Road 24 and County Road 3, while truck traffic will be rerouted via County Road 32 and County Road 13. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour signs and anticipate potential delays.
