Alabama’s signal-caller from Katy, Texas was most recently in Lower Alabama when he competed at the 76th Reese’s Senior Bowl with the American Team at the beginning of the month. Milroe was also one of the top 329 college football players who received an invitation to this weekend’s NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Partnered with FlexWork, Milroe is bringing a youth football camp experience to the Eastern Shore where attendees will learn directly from the Crimson Tide captain.
“Camp activities will include lectures, fundamental skill and competitive stations. All campers will be grouped according to age to ensure proper levels of competition and instruction,” the website says. “We ask that all campers please come dressed in athletic attire (gym shorts & cleats). This comprehensive football learning experience is a great way for athletes of all skill levels to get active and learn something new to apply to their journey within the sport of football.”
Campers will walk away with a team photo with Milroe as well as a camp t-shirt on top of applicable items from event sponsors. Milroe also has a camp scheduled for the Tuscaloosa area the day before, April 5, and his Alabama teammate from Saraland, receiver Ryan Williams, has camps scheduled in Huntsville (May 3) and Hoover (May 4).
