Do you know someone needing to evacuate from Hurricane Helene but don’t have a space to host them?

The Alabama State Parks Division is prepared to take in guests impacted by Helene. For those needing accommodations, the system encourages online reservations at https://reserve.alapark.com. Guests may also call 1-800-Alapark with any additional questions.

The Parks’ weather-aware teams are ready to assist with their stay at all 21 Alabama State Parks, which includes locations in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and the Eastern Shore. Parks offer camping, cabin and lodging reservations.

Alabama State Parks follow the National Weather Service in Birmingham, Mobile, Huntsville and Tallahassee, Florida. During inclement weather, guests should stay connected with these and other trusted local news sources for weather alerts, updates and warnings.
