The Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) is now accepting entries for its third annual National Homeownership Month art contest.
Held each June, the contest celebrates the impact and value of homeownership during the national observance.
This year's theme, "My Alabama Hometown," invites Alabama children aged 5 to 12 to illustrate what makes their home and hometown special. Entries can be submitted by uploading photos of the artwork to www.woobox.com/guoonc from June 1 to June 30. Public voting will take place from July 1 to July 10, with winners announced on July 12.
Participation in the contest is free. The top three vote-getters will receive deluxe art supply sets and Kiwi Crate subscriptions, which deliver monthly craft, STEM, and science activity kits to their homes.
