Affordable health screenings offered in Foley on May 30

Posted

Residents in Foley and surrounding Baldwin County communities will have the opportunity to take charge of their health when Life Line Screening brings its mobile preventative health service to town later this month.

The Alabama Gulf Coast Music Hall, located at 12615 A Foley Beach Express, will host the screening event on May 30. The one-day clinic will offer low-cost tests that help detect the early signs of serious chronic conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and osteoporosis.

Life Line Screening, a national provider of community-based health screenings, offers tests that assess:

• Plaque buildup in arteries, which can indicate risk for heart disease, stroke and poor vascular health

• Peripheral arterial disease, a narrowing of arteries in the legs and feet

• HDL and LDL cholesterol levels

• Bone density, which helps identify osteoporosis risk

Organizers say the screenings are designed to be both affordable and convenient. Free parking will be available on-site.

Packages start at $159, though consultants will tailor options based on each participant's age and risk profile.

Pre-registration is required. To schedule an appointment, call (877) 237-1287 or visit www.lifelinescreening.com.
