The Daphne Civic Center will transform into a haven of culinary delights and community spirit on Dec. 5, 2024, as Family Promise of Baldwin County hosts its 17th Annual Chocolate Affair.

The event, running from 6 to 9 p.m., serves as the organization's signature fundraiser to aid homeless families with children.

Attendees can indulge in an array of decadent desserts, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a sampling of signature dishes from beloved local restaurants, including Moe's Original BBQ, Villaggio Grille, Navy Cove Oysters, Buzzcats and Cactus Cantina. Complimentary beer, wine and refreshments — provided by generous sponsors — will keep glasses full as guests enjoy live entertainment curated by Coastal Events and Designs.

The evening also features a silent auction, offering items such as vacation getaways and packages from local attractions and businesses, ensuring there's something for everyone. Beyond the food and fun, the event highlights the impact of Family Promise's work. Guests will hear from a family who has successfully transitioned to stability through the organization's services, providing a poignant reminder of the evening's purpose.
