This weekend, the Alabama Gulf Coast has an onslaught of festivals happening ranging from art to gumbo. Slather on the sunscreen and plan to visit a different event each day. Start Friday evening at the Mobile Latin Fest and then spend Saturday at either the Jubilee Festival of Art or the Best of the Bay Gumbo Championship. Then Sunday, spend the day eating German food and drinking beer at Luna's Annual Oktoberfest. Enjoy the weekend and wherever the highways and byways take you.

Mobile Latin Fest
What: The second-annual Mobile Latin Fest is a free, family-friendly event with music, Latin food, dance, crafts and more. The festival is done in partnership with the Hispanic Business Association of the Gulf Coast and the City of Mobile.
When: Friday, Oct. 14, 4 to 9 p.m.
Where: Cathedral Square, Mobile

Price: Free

Jubilee Festival of Arts
What: The 34th-Annual Jubilee Festival of Arts takes over Olde Town Daphne this weekend. Over 130 local and regional artists will showcase their work and the Jubilee Market will feature local food makers. Spend the day shopping for holiday gifts, sample the delicious food.
When: Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Olde Town Daphne

Price: Free to attend, rain or shine event

Best of the Bay Gumbo Championship
What: The Eastern Shore Kiwanis Club will host its 11th-Annual Best of the Bay Gumbo Championship. Teams will compete against each other for the bragging rights of having the best gumbo on the Eastern Shore. The event includes a craft show, inflatables, face painting and live entertainment by the Marlow Boys.
When: Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Coastal Alabama Community College, 450 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

Price: Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Children aged 12 and under enter free.

Pumpkin Paddle
What: The Wind & Water Learning Center is hosting its first costumed Pumpkin Paddle. Wear your best costume and decorate your kayak or paddleboard. After the paddle enjoy live music from Spicy Danger. This event is recommended for 10 years and older. For more information or questions, email Jackie McGonigal at jmcgonigal@orangebeachal.gov.

Luna's Annual Oktoberfest
What: Pull the lederhosen out of the closet and get to Orange Beach for the annual Luna's Oktoberfest. Enjoy German food, modern polka music by The Brats, stein hoisting, games and Oktoberfest style beers.
When: Sunday, Oct. 16, 2 to 6 p.m.
Where: Luna's Eat & Drink, 25689 Canal Road, Orange Beach

Price: Tickets are $12 per person and can be purchased at lunaseatanddrink.com. Beer and food tickets sold separately.

The Eastbay Woodwind Quintet
What: The St. Francis Music Society will host The Eastbay Woodwind Quintet. The quintet will perform with Dr. Benjamin Rollings on piano.
When: Sunday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m.
Where: St. Francis at the Point, 17280 Scenic Highway 98, Fairhope
Price: The concert is free, but donations are accepted.
