Did you survive the first week of school? Did you make it to work on time now that school zones are back in effect? The first week isn't always easy.
Unfortunately, it was not easy to find weekend fun. All the event schedulers knew this would be a weekend most families would need to rest, recuperate and prep for the week. The events that are happening this weekend are worthy of your time, though.
Take in a family-friendly show at the South Baldwin Community Theatre, attend a lecture by a weather expert, or enjoy a serenade from Symone French. OWA Parks & Resort will host the End of Summer Bash with a full lineup Saturday, and on Sunday you can enjoy brunch and indoor pickleball. If you want to enjoy your couch and the air conditioning, you can always cheer on the athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
If our list missed the mark, visit our event calendar at www.GulfCoastMedia.com for more events happening this weekend or beyond. Search for events by distance from your home city or vacation spot. Do you know of an event coming up you think should be listed? Email pressrelease@gulfcoastmedia.com.
