Adult Anime Club Meeting
What: Are you an adult that enjoys Anime and looking for like-minded friends? Join the Adult Anime Club at the Foley Public Library. The club is open to anyone ages 17 and over. Bring dinner or a snack to eat and the library will provide drinks. The evening will include viewing more mature anime than the Doki Doki Anime Club (ages 10-16).

Salute to Service at The Wharf
What: Operation ReConnect presents the second annual Salute to Service. This patriotic family friendly event kicks off with an on-site Run/Walk/Stroll at 9 a.m. and a Jeep and motorcycle beach cruise at 1 p.m. The Friends of Army Aviation will also be present all day offering helicopter rides in their Vietnam era HU-1 "Huey" helicopter (flights available Friday, Sept. 16, as well). Proceeds from the event benefit Operation ReConnect, a nonprofit that gives service members and their families time at the beach to reconnect. For more information, visit operationreconnect.org.

Alabama Coastal Cleanup
What: Grab your family and friends and get the trash out of the splash at the 35th-annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup. What: The Fairhope Christian Church – Disciples of Christ located in the heart of Fairhope's Fairwood neighborhood will host the Southern Sky Grill food truck. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a fun day of food, fun, music and games.
