3 Baldwin County art students recognized in State Superintendent’s Visual Art Show

Three Baldwin County art students were recognized in the Alabama State Department of Education’s State Superintendent’s Visual Art Show. The students’ artwork will hang at the Old Supreme Court Library of the Alabama State Capitol for one month. The students are also invited to attend an awards ceremony at the Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery.
Fynnegan Stanford, a student at Foley Middle School, was awarded first place in the middle school division, while Elberta Middle School eighth grade student Alyssa Morrow placed third. J. Larry Newton fourth grader John Mellow received an Honorable Mention Award in the elementary division.
