It's May and I'm sure you already feel it right?

It's getting hot.

I'm not going to lie. I miss the snow we had in January. Well, I digress. While the Gulf Coast is heating up, so is the lineup of exciting events happening this weekend.

Whether you're planning to check out LuLu's Paradise Boat Show with dozens of boats on display, dance to live tunes at the MudBottom Revival Music Festival or enjoy a fun-filled day with the whole family at the Tacos & Tequila Festival, there's no shortage of things to do. If you're in the mood for something a little more relaxing, why not join the Mobile Astronomical Society for a night of stargazing? And don't miss the return of the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival at OWA Parks & Resort in Foley — if you haven't seen the news, it's back this weekend for three days of fun, fun, fun.

With so much going on, it's important to stay cool — make sure to wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water, and take breaks when you need them. Get ready for a weekend of unforgettable experiences — just remember to beat the heat while you do.

To discover more happenings or plan ahead for future weekends and holidays, visit our event calendar at www.GulfCoastMedia.com/calendar.
