The City of Gulf Shores will once again be the host of the NCAA beach volleyball national championships this year after the association announced the event will move from Huntington Beach, California in the wake of the Palisades Fire that started at the beginning of the year. A pair of Spanish Fort alumni have found their new college homes in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The newest member of the Virginia Cavaliers hails from Spanish Fort as Brady Wilson announced his transfer commitment in mid-December.
