The teams will honor Madeline Petite, a Robertsdale alumna and former Elberta coach, who recently lost her battle with lung cancer. Former Eastern Shore standouts Riley Leonard and Brady Wilson were once again honored among the best at their position around the country and garnered preseason recognition entering the 2024 season. Leonard was named to three watch lists for a second-straight year, including the Maxwell Award (best player), Davey O’Brien Award (best quarterback) and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm (top upperclassman quarterback) gearing up for his senior season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Wilson was among the 40 best centers in the nation and earned his second-consecutive spot on the Rimington Trophy Watch List before his final season with the UAB Blazers. Both Leonard and Wilson will also serve as team captains.
